A Message from Pastor John
On behalf of the church at Noddfa I would like to introduce you to our many activities. We are open throughout the week and have something on for everyone. Not a Christian? Not Religious? Why not pop in and let us challenge your assumptions of “church”.
Jesus said “ALL can come” (Rev 22:17)
Children and Youth
We have a number of activivities for Children and youth throughout the week, including; youth clubs, kids clubs, homework clubs, programmes for young mums, family play and of course our excellent Sunday school.
Our Children are well educated in the Gospel but not indoctrinated. We present the Christian world view with concent of their family/guardians for them to make an educated decision when they are of age.
Our Children and Youth Ministry is open to all, you do not have to be a Christian to come and Lean, Love and Share.
Men
We preach the Biblical Jesus who does not want men to leave their masculinity at the door, but to embrace it positively through an authentic Christian life.
Our men long for a sense of Christian duty, to stand for the truth, to love, and to serve their families in a sinful world. Our 7pm Thursday meeting (the brotherhood) equips our men to do this. We do not do small talk, we open our Bibles, pray, sing and enjoy raw debate. If you crave purpose and responsibility and want to help us as a Church Father the fatherless in our valley with integrity and Christian love, join us to learn how to be the man that God intended you to be. Come and be challenged by the gospel.
Women
Every Monday at 7pm women of all ages meet together to share, pray and study God’s word, (with lots of tea and biscuits to)! We also go out on trips, have meals together and celebrate weddings, birthdays and baby showers. It is great to have such wonderful friends in the church and we always have room for more to join us.
Worship
Join us for a family friendly service every Sunday morning at 11am at Noddfa Church. We begin with prayer and sing to God’s Praise. We read from God’s word and enjoy an uplifting and challenging message. We then close with a final hymn and then enjoy a time of fellowship during refreshments.
Every week we celebrate at the Lord’s Table.
Sunday school welcomes many children from all different ages and abilities. They follow a syllabus approved by Pastor and the volunteers are all DBS checked.
Every Sunday Evening we meet in home groups up and down the Valley from 6pm where we work through questions from the morning’s teaching and discuss the application.
Every Wednesday we meet for prayer at 11:30am in the back hall at High Street Baptist Church. We enjoy a short devotional and a time of sharing before we take time to be still with God and petition to Him in faith that His will, will be done.
