A Message from Pastor John
On behalf of the church at Noddfa I would like to introduce you to our many activities. We are open throughout the week and have something on for everyone. Not a Christian? Not Religious? Why not pop in and let us challenge your assumptions of “church”.
Jesus said “ALL can come” (Rev 22:17)
Youth
Men
Jesus did not call wimps to follow Him, He chose real men, because being a Christian is tough! Every Thursday at 7pm men of all ages meet at Noddfa for a cuppa and a chat. We study the Bible together, enjoy evening meals, pub garden, outdoor activities (zip wire, paintball, camping), we work together to maintain the church grounds and feed the homeless. Be a man! Come and Join us!
Women
Every Monday at 8pm women of all ages meet together in a home group to share, pray and study God’s word, (with lots of tea and cake to)! We also go out on trips, have meals together and celebrate weddings, birthdays and baby showers. It is great to have such wonderful friends in the church and we always have room for more to join us.
Worship
Join us for a family friendly service every Sunday morning at 11am at Noddfa Church. We begin with prayer and sing to God’s Praise. We read from God’s word, the we have a children’s talk before they go to Sunday school during the message. We then close with a final hymn and then enjoy a time of fellowship during refreshments. Every week we celebrate at the Lord’s Table. Sunday school welcomes many children from all different ages and abilities. They follow a syllabus approved by Pastor and the volunteers are all DBS checked.
Every Sunday Evening we meet in the hall at 6pm. We pray and sing to God’s Praise and dig deep into scripture learning Systematic Theology and Reformed Doctrine.
Every Wednesday we meet for prayer at 11:30am in the back hall at Noddfa Church. We enjoy a short devotional and a time of sharing before we take time to be still with God and petition to Him in faith that His will, will be done.
Other Ministries
We provide homes visits, hospital visits, Christianity Explored course, counciling, music lessons, job club, parenting courses, Money management and have a community library in the chapel.
We also run various seasonal events, from “Free to Good Home,” school uniform distribution, Foodshare, to Carol’s Under the Arch” and Summer BBQ’s.
